Out of an urgent need to strengthen its finance team, Ondernemingen Swennen turned to Finsiders at the beginning of this year, which acted quickly and immediately started looking for a consultant who fit the picture of the business. Finance Professional Dorien had only just come on board at Finsiders, but was immediately convinced that her expertise could meet and meet the needs within Swennen. Not much later, her start-up was in full swing, and shortly afterwards went almost smoothly. Even more: today, almost six months later, she still contributes to the efficiency of the finance team.
Challenging project in a familiar environment

In other words: Dorien knew from day one that she had found herself in a challenging working environment, and she grabbed the opportunities and confidence that Ondernemingen Swennen gave her with both hands. “After the knowledge transfer, a new employee started who took on the accounting tasks. I gained the confidence to manage that new colleague,” she says enthusiastically.
"In the meantime, the company also switched to a new accounting program. Since I already had some experience with that program, I was also allowed to implement it," Dorien says about her responsibilities. "The varied tasks and the extensive scope of the project really appeal to me. I also like the working environment. It is a growing company, but the family character is retained, so there is little distance between colleagues and managers. That of course makes the assignment all the more pleasant!"
